Professional Biography of Badu Yeboah
Badu Yeboah is the Programme Associate (Head of Secretariat) for the Ghana Federation of Forest & Farm Producers (GhaFFaP). Badu has over a decade experience in Social Forestry/Natural Resources Management & Environmental Governance and has worked on a number of Forest Restoration related Projects in Ghana and within the West African Sub-Region.
My philosophy towards work is to challenge myself continuously, becoming proficient in tasks or studies with which I’m already familiar. Learning new things, taking new opportunities and working with the different team members and environment. Additionally, I consider myself a team-oriented person for projects and daily tasks.
I enjoy motivating rural communities improve their livelihood options by assisting them make informed decisions.
I am a holder of combined Master’s Degree in Bio-economy & Natural Resources Management and Business Administration from the University of Eastern Finland (UEF, Finland). A Bachelor of Science degree holder in Forest Resources Technology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST, Ghana). I also hold a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)Certificate and Monitoring & Evaluation(M&E) Certificate from Valley View University (VVU, Ghana) and Ghana Institute of Management & Public Administration (GIMPA, Ghana) respectively.
Badu enjoys watching football matches, African movies, listening to local songs and offering career guidance & counselling to the youth. I currently live in Kumasi-Ghana.
